Between Life and Death

This adventure was created for the Weird Tales Shadowdark Game Jam 2024, hosted by Baron De Ropp. 

Characters, recently slain in the mortal world, are being transported by the Ferryman to the great beyond, when suddenly their vessel is capsized. They are thrown into dark waters for days on end until arriving on a mysterious island, partway between life and death.

The party is tasked by a dying man to help free the souls trapped on this island and set the natural order back in place. Meanwhile, an ancient demon hunts the party and the powerful gem they wield. This is one last hurrah, one last chance to be heroes for a fallen few.
